What does honor mean to you?
Honor is the highest form of respect and reverence. In our community, there are elevated expectations of how we carry ourselves and treat people with respect to courage and integrity.

What will it take to win Maximum Warrior 3?
Consistency. We probably won't be able to get way with any mulligans.

Which attribute in your military training gives you an advantage over the competition?
Being unflappable. We have to be cool in the face of chaos. If the competition throws me a curveball or I screw something up, I'll keep my head down and stay in the fight.

What do you think it will be like competing against 9 other Special Operators?
This competition promises to be a lot of fun. I thrive on competition. I'm excited to compete with these guys and see what T1G is going to throw at us.

What is your favorite quote?
A poem, not a quote, but William Ernest Henley's "Invictus." The final two lines of the last stanza are, "I am the master of my fate. I am the captain of my soul." That's powerful stuff.

What do you look forward to the most when coming home from deployment?
I obviously look forward to reuniting with my friends, family, and of course, my dog. But also all the little things you have to do without like grass, trees, beer, and a general return to normalcy. That lasts a couple of weeks until I start to get the itch to get back on the battlefield. It's almost like you feel guilty to be home safely knowing your brothers are still in the fray.
