What does honor mean to you?
I think honor encompasses a soldier's actions; how he presents himself, his family, his team, and his wounded/fallen comrades. I think any SOF operator in a tough situation overseas or stateside feels he has an obligation to have integrity and dignity. Moreover he must maintain a good name for himself, his family, and career field. Most of all, when a team finishes a long mission where there were close calls there's a since of honor that everybody feels for each other and themselves.
What will it take to win Maximum Warrior 3?
I think it will take a well rounded soldier and little luck to win the competition.
Which attribute in your military training gives you an advantage over the competition?
US Air Force Combat Controllers attach to sister service SOF teams creating a situation of always having to prove yourself regardless of his experience or number of deployments. Also being able to intergrade quickly and show a team that you bring valuable assets to the fight is a constant for Combat Controllers. Most Controllers work very hard at honing their skills to continue the legacy that the previous Controllers left behind. This will give me an advantage during the competition!
What do you think it will be like competing against 9 other Special Operators?
No doubt in my mind it will be hard. I have full respect for all SOF operators and I will give it my best because I know they will do the same.
What is your favorite quote?
"I am prepared to meet my Maker. Whether my Maker is prepared for the great ordeal of meeting me is another matter. " -Winston Churchill
What do you look forward to the most when coming home from deployment?
