What does honor mean to you?
Honor to me is consistently striving in everything I do to provide for my men, family, and friends. The sense of comradery, comfort, and respect that we should all enjoy.
What will it take to win Maximum Warrior 3?
Having a better day than the man standing next to you!
Which attribute in your military training gives you an advantage over the competition?
I don't know if it will help much, but the fact that the Force Reconnaissance Marines are the only unit that use the 1911 MEU SOC .45 might give me an advantage.
What do you think it will be like competing against 9 other Special Operators?
I think it will be challenging and at the same time I'm sure we will have our share of laughing at each other over the course of events. There is always something that we are not good at or unfamiliar with, it's how we handle it that will set us apart.
What is your favorite quote?
"Learn from the past, set vivid, detailed goals for the future, and live in the only moment of time over which you have any control: NOW." - Denis Waitley
This quote works well with my favorite statement, "Step 1: Show up!"
What do you look forward to the most when coming home from deployment?
Out of all the questions this is the one that has changed over the years as my wife and I have grown and started raising a family, but after all these year's one thing that has never changed is the fact that I will always look forward to that 1st smile and embrace from my wife.
